Best drinks in Reno. This team knows what they are doing from the classics, creative mixed drinks, aromatics used, quality ingredients, custom cut ice and the knowledgeable mixologists. No place better in Reno.
The only cool thing about this place is the decor. I arrived with a friend and we ordered drinks on a tab I had started. I found a friend with his group of friends there and they had some open seating so we sat near them but they left and my friend and I stayed to enjoy our drinks. Not only was the bartender not the friendliest. When I asked him for his recommendation on a tequila or mezcal drink he just asked what I liked. “I had said anything with tequila or mezcal” I’m at a mixologist bar I’m open to his opinion. Since he still didn’t give me any I asked him to make me something he enjoyed making. The drinks were fine, nothing out of this world. Just a few ounces of liquid really. And upon paying they automatically charged me $6 tip. I was originally planning on leaving a $5 cash tip but I was upset that that charged me automatically and when I asked him he said because I was in a group of over 8. I said no I had my own tab. I was with my friend and the only open seating happened to be near the large group and I happened to know one person in that group. That doesn’t make me part of the group. Especially when they arrived and left before I did. Overall not my favorite experience and for the two drinks I didn’t think $36 was worth it.
Great spot for a cocktail. The menu is impressive and the bartenders were extremely knowledgeable in their craft. Just Do it.
Cool atmosphere and fun drinks. Love the interior. Baller Sazerac, Old Fashioned, and I believe Juniper and Citrus. All were tasty and the mixologist had great attention to detail when building the drinks. Only two things are guaranteed in life…
Fantastic cocktail bar, one of the few places in Reno that has a great selection of alcohol, and typically great service to go along with it. I love the atmosphere inside but would prefer they picked a different selection of music, I feel like it is loud and intrusive and doesn't match the vibe of the rest of the place. Don't let that discourage you though, this is a great spot for a date or drinks with friends.
Cozy and sophisticated space, well designed and perfected cocktails. This is Reno's best cocktail bar, hands down (aside from it's sister next door, Amari). They pride themselves on attention to detail and it shows in every drink. Best whiskey selection in midtown as well.
